The problem

Pizza House was a beloved neighbourhood fixture that had stopped growing. The same chalkboard menu for three years, orders via a chaotic Facebook page, and packaging identical to every other takeaway in the district. They were losing the casual dinner trade to aggregators like Deliveroo, and their brand offered no reason to order direct. When a chain opened two streets away, the existential threat became clear.

The strategy

We gave them a warm, tactile identity with a single consistent point of view: handwritten, hungry, personal. That voice runs from the menu to the pizza box. The website strips away every barrier between hunger and order — fast, clear, no account required. The brand personality does the retention work that a discount code can't.

The outcome

A neighbourhood favourite that now competes on the quality of the experience, not just the price. Direct orders now account for the majority of revenue, cutting aggregator fees entirely.

From the client

“We were losing dinner orders to the big delivery apps with a three-year-old chalkboard menu. OREENZA gave us a voice people remember and a site that gets out of the way of the food — direct orders jumped 220% in the first month, and we finally own the relationship with our regulars again.”
